Hassan Rmaile is president of Materials Group Worldwide at Avery Dennison and is responsible for the group’s overall global strategy and its execution.
Previously, Hassan was the senior vice president and general manager, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, and global innovation for Avery Dennison Label and Graphic Materials, where he was responsible for the short and long-term financial, strategic and operating objectives of the unit. He also led the Hanita business unit and sponsored Avery Dennison's Graphics Solutions businesses globally.
Hassan has held innovation & business leadership roles within the Label and Graphic Materials business since joining Avery Dennison March 1, 2016. Prior to joining Avery Dennison, he served as Vice President, Chief technology and Innovation Officer at H.B. Fuller in Saint Paul, Minnesota from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, he was vice president of strategic growth platforms in Ashland’s Specialty Ingredients operating unit and leading to that, he served in commercial roles of increasing responsibility, including global business unit director of consumer industries (Pharmaceuticals, Food and Personal Care).
Hassan holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the American University of Beirut (Lebanon), an MBA in finance from the University of Delaware and a Ph.D. in materials chemistry from Florida State University. He holds an executive leadership certificate from the University of Minnesota from 2013 and has served as a director for the Minnesota High Tech Association from 2012-2016.
